  • Notes
    • Sir John Eyre was M.P. for Calne 1625, and for Chippenham 1628.
His father having sold the Monk's Estate to the Danvers family,
Sir John having no children, and apparently being no settlement
on his brothers, diposed of the Great Chaldfield property to
Sir Richard Gurney and so ended the Eyre connection with that
      ancient manor. [1]
