  	Joseph is fairly elusive in the census's, choosing to be away from his family in most. There is a slight doubt in my mind as to whether he is the correct one. There is also another link I would like to clear up but have not yet managed to. The Ann Mowthorpe recorded as being the mother of the Joseph in the 1821 Bishop Burton baptism is likely to be the Ann Mowthorpe christened in the same church in 1799 (daughter of John and Mary. Unfortunately due to Joseph not appearing in a census with his parents either there is a weak and unproven link between Jospeh born 1821 and Ann born 1799. The whole line back from here gets confusing due to similarities of names and lack of census records to tie them together
