WAS GEORGE B. EYRE MURDERED ALONG THE NEW JERSEY SHORE?
Not all of the article is there, but what can be found:
George B. EYRE was reported missing on 28 Dec 1899, after going duck hunting
on the Delaware River. On that night, a night watchman from a company on
Mantua Creek in New Jersey (right across the river from the Airport today),
heard 3 cries for HELP, but it was so foggy, he could see nothing a offer no
help.
